Harvest Festival In Tabawan!!!

On 27th May 2010 till end of the month of May which is the Sabah Harvest Festival got 8 students taken the PADI Open Water Diver course with us. YES!! They done it!! Here we would like to said Big Congratulation to ANG, KOH SIANG, KOH YANG, LEE, LIM, YONG, CHOW & SINN. Below pictures shown the newly certify PADI OPEN WATER DIVERS. (Sorry guys!!! No underwater picture taken during the open water dives!!!)
We, SSS were in Tabawan Island during the long holidays where we conducted the Open Water course, Discover Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Guided fun dives and Research on new dive sites. This trip we found a huge Plate Coral Garden site. For those who love to see Coral Reefs please come Dive Tabawan!!! Pictures below also shown the facility of Tabawan Eco Dive and underwater pictures…….Enjoy it!!!

Sulawesi Sea Safari was requested to do research on the Island and recently found a dive site of TURTLES STATION!! Tabawan Island still await for more to explore and discover like in Tun Sakaran Marine Park, Semporna. You will be honour that a new dive site might under your name. Tabawan (Pearl) Island Trip!!!

Tabawan Island is the highest and largest of a group of heavily wooded islands lying in the southwest quadrant of Darvel Bay (Telukan Lahad Datu), Sabah. It has dual volcanic peaks, and is 275 meters at its highest point. On the south side of the island there is a small bay, or inlet, quite deep, at 25 to 35 meters. It is about 7.25 kilometers from Batik Island, which lies to the southeast. The whole island not much sandy beach but full with green forest trees, mangroves and plants. Goat, wild boars, birds & even otters living on the island and can easy to seen.
Tabawan Island also known as Pearl Island where private Cultured or farmed pearls firm has long been established there. Near to House Reef where can seen beautiful reefs thanks to Pearls Firm, Fish Firm, Forestry Department and Enforcement units well protect and taking care the area. Go Diving or snorkeling must only go thought one newly tour company for looking after. It best to have only one island one resort for control and conservation.
